Can you make money from Twitter

I wasn’t a big fan of social media until l found out that there lots of internet marketers making a good living from it. There are millions and millions of people using Twitter, Facebook and MySpace everyday. Twitter is now being used by all different types of people. For instance politicians film stars and other celebrities use Twitter to grow their fan base. Businesses on the other hand, use Twitter to drive tons of targeted traffic to their website and generate sales.

To open a Twitter account is free. Once you have created your account you can search for who ever you want to follow. It can be anybody from a famous celebrity to the neighbour next store. Search for topics that you are interested in and follow people who share the same interest. In return you will start to generate your own followers.

I haven’t been using twitter for long but l do believe the quickest way to make money online is to be an affiliate. An affiliate is someone who sell’s someone else’s product, in return you will get a percentage of the products price. Twitter is a great tool for helping you to do this. All you have to do is to build following , once that is done you can now start by promoting the product to your followers, in each tweet you will enter your personal affiant link which will lead them to the sales page of the product or your own website/blog. My advice to you is that build a good size following first before attempting to sell them a product.
